NANTUCKET has a rich history of entertaining large and devoted audiences throughout the Southeast with strong emphasis in the Carolinas!
Nantucket formed in North Carolina and became a huge success in the southeast as an original band and eventually became a powerful and tenacious sensation, amassing thousands of fans in America, Europe and Japan. The band signed with Epic Records and released its self-titled album in 1978, featuring the AOR hit single “Heartbreaker” selling over a quarter million copies. Cross-country tours followed with Nantucket sharing stages with great artists like KISS, ACDC, Styx, Boston, Foreigner, Journey and The Doobie Brothers. NANTUCKET was inducted in 2012 to the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame.
More successful albums followed including the 2011 release NEED A RIDE TO RALEIGH which got phenomenal regional radio coverage and a nomination at the 2012 Cammy Awards in Myrtle Beach.
Nantucket still boasts by appearing in concert with 4 core original members.
LARRY UZZELL, TOMMY REDD, EDDIE BLAIR and PEE WEE WATSON with very special touring members JASON PATTERSON and WALT GARLAND.
Sidewinder was formed in Wilmington, N.C during the late 70s from the remnants of several local cover bands. One of the original members, Ronnie Brothers, was the first guitarist and later managed the band after leaving the stage some years later. The band went through numerous personnel changes during the roughly 16 year run but the direction was always the same – deliver a high quality rock and roll concert with state of the art production, polished showmanship, and musical excellence.
