This year we will be hosting our first annual Kayak race to Jones Island! This is roughly a 1 mile paddle. Winner wins free kayak!
Event Details
This year we will be hosting our first annual Kayak race to Jones Island! This is roughly a 1 mile paddle. This event will not all be held at once. The way it will work is that it will last all weekend. You can come to the shop at anytime and we will time when you leave until you return. For the best shot at coming in first place we recommend checking the tides and best days for wind to do this on!
Rules for race!
Entry Fee: $20
-You have to touch the sand on Jones Island and return back to the dock at the shop for your total time. (We will have someone on the island to make sure of this)
-You need to be at least 14 years old to participate.
-Single Kayaks only!
-Only our kayaks will be used in race!
Winnings:
First Place: $200 or a Free Kayak.
Second Place: 10 Hours of Free Kayak Rentals.
Third Place: Free SPB T-Shirt and $20 Gift Card.
Everyone Else: Exercise and a good time:)
