Love It. Style It. Wear It. If you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life. Truer words were never said. Sometimes I wonder if I'm dreaming. Southern Twang was started in 2012 as an outlet to express my style. I worked full time at an insurance company and curating outfits had always been a passion of mine and a good way to zone out from the everyday stresses. In 2013 I opened my very first store front in Edenton, NC. I was scared to death. Looking back it seems silly to have been so afraid. It was the best decision I made. At the end of 2014 my husband and I had our precious little girl and after lots of prayer and discussions I decided not to go back to my career that paid the bills. I took a leap of faith and decided to put my all into my passion. Again. I was scared to death, I had no clue if I was making the right choice, but I'm so glad I took that leap. Looking back I can't believe I was scared. Everything fell into place. Here we are in 2017 and I have moved from the Edenton store to a bigger space here in Elizabeth City, NC. What I want you to know about Southern Twang is this is my passion. I love clothing and curating an outfit. I put my heart and soul into this little store. It brings me so much happiness and it teaches me something new everyday. This journey has brought me so much closer in my faith. I love that I get to bring my daughter to work with me each day and watch her grow up. It goes by so fast. I LOVE meeting my shoppers and see
