Patrice Saltzman is a self-taught baker who spent many formative years in the family kitchen decorating her mother’s sugar cookies. After transitioning from a career in musical theatre, she found herself spending more time back in the kitchen, and with newfound inspiration and passion for building sugary confections, she founded Patty Bakes in 2015.
Patrice loves finding ways of turning sugar into creative and whimsical cakes. Inspired by the world and culture that surrounds her, her cakes are individually created for each event, and she loves perfecting the tiny details she and her clients have envisioned. Using fresh butter, fine chocolates, seasonal fruit, and organic products whenever possible, each cake is baked from scratch and made with simple, pure ingredients.
